Spine
The physicians at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation treat various spinal conditions including traumatic injuries, deformities, work-related spine problems and degenerative conditions. The increasing prevalence of lower back injuries make access to state of the art facilities for treatment of spinal conditions essential and the spine program is just one of the resources available to meet this need.
Our spine service is designed to be both cost effective and readily accessible. Orthopaedic physicians work in partnership with colleagues in internal medicine, radiology, anesthesiology, psychiatry, rheumatology, physical therapy, and neurology to optimize expertise, deliver comprehensive care and ensure speedy rehabilitation and recovery.
The spine program integrates with the research and educational activities of the Feinberg School of Medicine. This collaboration helps to ensure that our program remains on the cutting edge of surgical and diagnostic technology.
